Baseball coaches are not mind readers, and sometimes players, in an effort to stay competitive, may try to hide their injuries from their coaches. One of the most important things you can do at the start of every season is to sit down with your team and explain to them the importance of reporting any injuries or pain they experience during practice or games to you immediately. Emphasize to them that they will not be penalized in any way for taking time out to heal, and that there is no honor in “suffering through” or “taking one for the team.” If they want to have a long career ahead of them in baseball, they should not risk their future by ignoring their pain and injuries.

In the wake of exciting homerun races displayed by hulking, larger than life baseball players, Major League Baseball had to stand up and raise the question.  Are Major League Baseball players using performance-enhancing drugs to put on the displays that have been seen over the past few years?

Making sure that players do not get past first base is the object of any team that is on the field. The first baseman has to be alert and ready to catch the ball at any time. They must be ready to catch and throw the ball quickly in order to make another out. This is particularly important when the bases are loaded.

This is one of the things that keeps the game interesting and also keeps people watching. The top five unbroken baseball records may be broken in the next season or two. These records range from saves to runs scored. While these records have been broken in the past, they have not been broken in the last few years. Many players have come close, which is why these records are talked about. In the game of baseball where stats matter most, who can set new records is very important to any player’s career.
